Another easy test to do , to test if you coil is within manufacturers specs .
all you need is a multimeter ,
Set meter to read ohms ( auto range )
and then perform both tests below
Primary side (12v) test between earth and icu connector
by the way mine is faulty both side in fact as was not working
Secondary test between icu connector and HT lead end
Results should be
Primary side test
122 engine 0.11~0.21 ohms
123 engine 0.5 ohms
Secondary side test
122 engine 4.3~8.1 K-ohms
123 engine 1.9~2.4 K-ohms
