Very basic job but one you will do many times on the RS125 to make it easy to access Carb , barrel spark plug etc .
Buy a New Aprilia RS 125 fuel tank from Ebay UK here
or a new Tank lock from Ebay UK here
So to being with undo the front nut just behind the yokes it usually an allen key bolt undo this and the tank will lift up .
Now find the fuel pipe going to carb it should be attached to carb with jubilee clamp and if its fitted the right way you can gain access to it via the side
Turn fuel off
You can gain access to the jubilee clamp with flat bladed
screwdriver via the side panel
refit the jubilee this way to make it easy to do up and take of later
feed the fuel pipe out of the side of bike
loads of access to bike now
Drain fuel into suitable container
Now undo rear mount this one is a bit of a bodge
some are but usually just a bolt through that allow the
tank to be lifted on a hinge
Load of access now to work on what ever you need to do
